It’s been heard recently that Occupiers are being compared to hippies, and are percieved to have no sense of direction. 

The main problem and confusion encountered with the movement is people don’t know what the movement is aiming for. Sure they understand that the protests involve Wall St and the economy, but other than that, things are getting cloudy.

When interviewing Matt Barno, a high school history teacher, it was brought to our attention that people didn’t know the exact reason why people are occupying. 

Corporations in Democracy. The American people are fed up with corporations “buying” politicians and getting bailout money that should be put towards the people. Occupy wants to take the power out of the big businesses, and place the power back with the people.
